About DJ M1BORN In July 197?, Had a keen ear for music that's been buzzing for years , growing up as a child , His Father played in a Local band "Phase II" so music was always around him. His Father also registered to take piano lessons (which he hated)But at the time didn't see the importance of learning how to read music notes . He got his first taste playing with Technics 1200's at the age 13 at a club "Carib "2" a local spot where his parents used to cater and clean to make ends meet. Instead of getting in trouble by the owner its turned into a little job as stock boy and then warm up DJ before each night kicked off . Picked up on craft really quick i guess the musical influence just made him natural Years past and as he enters High School not only picks up a nick name "Papa Shango", Disapearing and Re- appering never being the Same place 2 or doing things over.... what made his peers call him the mystical one .. but he later shortened to just plain M.O.N.E. He finds his self mastering his craft and getting more involved in the DJ scene. DJing at Local B.B.Q's and Clubs Across the G.T.A (Greater Toronto Area) and featured on several radio stations (ie: 88.1 FM, 89.5 FM and 105.5 FM) also started to dabbling into beat making and later Went on to College to study Recorded Music Production at Trebas Insitute, at the age 20. But also at that age Fatherhood began and responsibilty took priority and He turned his back on the lifestyle and entered the workforce , Working dead end jobs , getting hired to be laid off or fired , Had Him return to the books again but nothing to do with music he got into Web Design and Networking. 10 yrs after he is back at as an Stage Manager/Event DJ at Local Talent Showcases annually. He also is Hosting a Internet Radio Show entitled "Shango's Wondahland Radio Show " two times a week Old Time Slot Thursdays 12 pm - 2 pm Now on Tuesdays 11pm - 1 am (est)and Saturdays 4 pm - 6 pm(est),and Active World Genre Music Director !!....Follow him on twitter @m1akashango Followers
